Born and raised in New York, Ronnie Breed Jr. is stationed year-round at Belmont Park and serves as assistant trainer to Tom Morley. Growing up watching his mother train horses, it was only a matter of time before Ronnie grew up to do just that. He spent many years assisting Debra Breed at Finger Lakes, learning the ropes before going out on his own. One day, Ronnie and Tom crossed paths at the track and it wasn’t too long after that Team Morley added a new member to its roster.
Ensuring our Belmont string of horses are happy, healthy and on schedule, Ronnie handles everything from galloping in the mornings to overseeing each runner on race day and making sure they make it in and out in tiptop shape to race. When Tom’s not near, have no fear, Ronnie is here!
